ASUS is going to launch the ASUS ROG Phone 7 next month. Just like its predecessors, the ROG Phone 7 is a premium, mobile gaming machine packed inside a smartphone. An ASUS ROG Phone 7, with the model number ASUS_AI2205_D, has surfaced on AnTuTu. There are multiple variations under the ROG Phone 7 series. The series may include the ROG Phone 7, ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, and ROG Phone 7D. According to the rumors, the ROG Phone 7 is going to be featured with a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and a 20.4:9 aspect ratio. The display is rumored to have a resolution of 2448 × 1080 pixels, support HDR10+, and a 720Hz touch sampling rate. The display should hide an under-display fingerprint scanner.
The ROG Phone 7 is going to run on a 4nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. This powerful chipset is paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. There may be two more variants. One with 8GB RAM and the other with 16GB RAM. ASUS may have paired it with a 6000mAh battery inside the ASUS ROG Phone 7, which could support 65W Quick Charge 5.0 and PD 3.0 Charging wired fast charging. The ROG Phone 7 is tipped to boast a Sony IMX766 50MP main camera, which is coupled with a 13MP ultra-wide camera and 5MP macro sensors. It will be featured with 32MP front-facing camera and some noticeable connectivity options on the ASUS ROG Phone 7 should include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 AX, Bluetooth v5.3, GPS/GLONASS/BeiDou, Galileo(E1+E5a), QZSS(L1+L5), NavIC(L5), USB Type-C, and NFC. The phone is expected to have an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. The ASUS ROG Phone 7 should run Android 13 with ROG UI & Zen UI.
