Renowned tech analyst Gurman has disclosed that Apple is gearing up for an iPhone 15 event, scheduled for either Tuesday, September 12, or Wednesday, September 13. The new lineup’s release is anticipated around Friday, September 22.
According to the grapevine, the flagship iPhone 15 is likely to feature a 6.2-inch display, marking a slight increase from the current 6.1-inch iPhone 14. On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Pro will likely retain the 6.1-inch size. The larger models, iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro, are expected to sport 6.7-inch displays, aligning with the existing models.
A significant highlight for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus is the anticipated arrival of the Dynamic Island pill-and-hole cutout, an exclusive feature thus far seen in the iPhone 14 Pro series. This dynamic element showcases background content like music controls and incoming calls in an interactive manner, allowing users to expand it with a tap.
Should Dynamic Island be integrated into the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, it would mark a significant step toward a completely notch-free iPhone lineup. Additionally, the entry-level iPhone variants are set to receive upgraded modem chips and enhanced camera technology.
