The foldable device, weighing 239g and measuring just 5.9mm at its slimmest side, takes on a book-shaped design akin to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5. It features a primary 7.82-inch 2K AMOLED flexible display with a variable refresh rate spanning 1Hz to 120Hz, while a secondary 6.31-inch 2K AMOLED display is located on the cover. Remarkably, both screens offer a 10-bit color depth and full support for the DCI-P3 color gamut.
The OnePlus Open features an extensive camera system with a total of five cameras: three on the rear, one on the main display, and one on the cover display. The rear camera setup includes a 48MP main camera (Sony Lytia-808) with optical image stabilization, a 64MP 3x telephoto camera with autofocus and OIS, and a 48MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with autofocus. The main display houses a 20MP camera, while the cover display features a 32MP camera. This camera system is a collaborative effort with Hasselblad and supports 4K 30fps video recording in Dolby Vision.
The OnePlus Open also boasts an alert slider, powerful Dolby Atmos speakers, a convenient side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an X-axis vibration motor, and a versatile USB-C 3.1 port for charging, audio output, and data transfer.
