HTech is gearing up to introduce the HONOR X9b 5G smartphone in India on February 15, providing a sneak peek into the device’s key features. Boasting a 6.78-inch display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rates, the phone employs pulse-width modulation (PWM) dimming technology to minimize eye discomfort.

HTech emphasizes the device’s durability, featuring a three-layer protective construction, partial reinforcements, and HONOR’s Ultra-Bounce Anti-drop display technology for resistance against drops up to 1.5 meters. The HONOR X9b is also IP53-rated for water and dust resistance, with a one-time screen replacement program offered for six months at no extra cost.

Performance-wise, the smartphone is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM. The device houses a robust 5,800mAh battery, achieving the Gold Label standard from DXOMARK. Operating on the Android 13 platform with HTech’s MagicOS 7.2 UI, the HONOR X9b introduces advanced features like MagicText for text extraction from images.

In the camera department, the HONOR X9b boasts a triple-camera setup, featuring a powerful 108-megapixel primary sensor. The smartphone will be available in midnight black and sunrise orange colors, featuring a frosted glass back on the former and a vegan leather back panel on the latter.
